I sent my tool in for service, when will it be
done?
ATS has a great track record here. We generally "turn around"
tools sent for repair within 48 hours. There are some exceptions but generally
we are very prompt.
Is it cost effective to repair soldering equipment?
Torque drivers? Heat guns?
Almost always, yes! We believe that it's cheaper to fix a tool than buy
a new one. Even with relatively low-priced tools. We regularly fix solder
stations and heat guns for less than one-half of their replacement cost.
Add that to the fact that our service is fast and warrantied, and the
only reason anyone would not opt for repair is because it may be easier
to buy a new tool (but it is definitely not cheaper).
Can you repair hand tools, such as side cutter,
end cutters, wire strippers, screwdrivers, probes, tweezers etc.?
Yes, our Hand Tool Reconditioning Service is a great way to keep your small tools such as diagonal cutter, end cutter, needle nose and bent nose pliers, probes, screwdrivers, tweezers, etc., working like new at a reasonable price.
I need a parts breakdown for a driver, solder
station, de-solder station, heat gun etc?
We can usually get this reference material to you very quickly. Email
us with a specific request.
Do you recommend regular maintenance on electric
and air drivers?
Absolutely! Air and electric drivers need regular periodic maintenance.
This will reduce tool failure and keep repair cost and down time to a
minimum. We can help you set up a program to fit your needs. Years of
experience have shown that solder and de-solder equipment can greatly
benefit from routine periodic maintenance.
Do you have calibration services?
Yes, we regularly calibrate solder and de-solder equipment to balance
the "set" temperature with the actual tip temperature. Adjustable
torque drivers are also calibrated with equipment that complies with ISO
9000 standards. It is important to calibrate torque tools regularly.
Can you consult with me regarding my assembly
and production needs?
We would be happy to share with you the benefit of any of the experience
we have with the tools we sell and service. Call
us with your specific needs.
Where can I get information regarding your products?

distribute and repair. Email us your specific request.
